Some events deserve a press release. Others deserve a diary entry. This one? Maybe both.
In April, Tigre de Tartán packed up our prettiest mahjong mats, tote bags, needlepoint, and more for a very special trunk show in—wait for it—Kathy Hilton’s house. Yes, that house. Hosted by the ever-gracious Kathy and her daughter Nicky Hilton Rothschild, the event was a spring dream: rosé, sunshine, designer tablescapes, and a guest list that felt straight out of a Nancy Meyers finale.
We were joined by an incredible lineup of brands and creatives, and it was such a joy to share our pieces with collectors, tastemakers, and new friends in such a stunning, art-filled space.
The highlight? Watching our mahjong mats get the Hilton stamp of approval (no actual stamp, just the iconic nod of a woman who knows a good table when she sees one).
