Wooden Mahjong, Naturally

There is something very good about mahjong tiles made from wood.

Ours have arrived, and we couldn't be happier with them. Natural wood grain, traditional American mahjong faces, and our heart engraved on the back. (Each set includes all the tiles needed for American play, Jokers included.)

They feel substantial in the hand, are wonderfully tactile, and irregular enough from tile to tile to remind you what they're made of but not tip you off what they are to reveal on the reverse.

We wanted a beautiful wooden American mahjong set that still looked immediately, unmistakably like traditional mahjong- now we have one.
