Katherine Hartman X Tigre de Tartán Mahjong Mat, BIRDSONG

No promo codes are scheduled for this collab design.

Birdsong is a story about collecting and the artwork that comes from a lifetime of learning. Katherine’s extensive knowledge of vintage tiles, and her ability to create her own designs, have brought hundreds of years of history and tradition to the table in a new way. All of the characters you see are either from artists of centuries ago, or from Katherine’s own hand. Together they make a striking display on a ground that first appears white but in certain lights has the faintest tinge of robin’s egg blue.

Katherine Hartman's work is instantly recognizable for its rich botanical detail and thoughtful use of color. Best known for Mother Nature, her mahjong tile set for Crisloid, she makes her Tigre de Tartán debut with an entirely new design created exclusively for our print house. We are thrilled to have her.
