Printed to resemble a handwoven Nantucket basket, this 39-inch round mat is packed with tiny shadows, subtle texture, and enough trompe l'œil trickery to make guests reach out and touch it. The American mahjong rules are worked quietly into the design, always nearby but never stealing the scene.

The illusion is only half the story. To achieve this level of depth, the artwork is printed in the USA using multiple layers of ink before each mat is individually laser cut into a perfect circle. It's a meticulous process that demands far more time and attention than a standard square—and one we're happy to undertake.
