I was unsure if I would like the leatherette material but I have to say, I really do! The tiles move across it so smoothly. It arrived with a slight warp where the elastic wrapped around it but it relaxed out within a day. I am very happy with this mat and I LOVE the floral pattern. Makes for a very elevated table. I am already planning to purchase more.

A magnificant jungle of color which offsets my light colored tiles. I much prefer this mat material over neoprine. It can be wiped, doesn’t curl, and sets off my mahjong table.
